Uhhhh...

I thought this was happening in the Ukraine?

"And in a Franklin County, Ohio, a precinct where 638 voters cast ballots, a computer recorded 3,893 extra votes for President Bush. The error was corrected in the certified vote total, and local election workers have been unable to reproduce the error."

Whole story here.

This REALLY gives me confidence in our electronic election system. Really.

Happy Birthday Christy & Trixie!

Happy birthday girls! Bill and I spent saturday at a great party @ Christy and Trixie's in Oakland celebrating their birthdays. It was a great time! Attendees had to wear a hat or wig. As soon as Trixie sends me the pictures I will post them.

The closest approximation of truth

Comes from listening to the source, many times over.

I like this because it lacks the propaganda machine of politicians and press agents who are interested in themselves primarily, and then the truth. This gives a perspective, without final judgement, and without blame. It is opinion, and although it may represent the small percentage of the populous that has computer access, it is still the best representation I have been able to gather about the reality of living in the war zone.
